When someone clicks an affiliate's referral link, Rian records the click and sets a referral code. When your app reports a conversion event via Rian's API with that referral code, the event is matched back and attributed to the correct affiliate. In the current version of Rian, referral codes need to be passed through explicitly — improved automatic attribution is on the roadmap.
